Michael R. Ash, "Does Mormonism Attack Christianity?," (Mesa, Arizona: FAIR, 20 November 2002) Some anti-Mormons believe that the work they do is in response to a "first attack" on traditional Christianity by Joseph Smith. This FAIR Paper examines the evidence for such a belief.

Cooper Johnson, Breaking the Rules: Critics of the LDS Faith. Krister Stendahl, Lutheran Bishop of Stockholm, offered three rules we should all use when engaging in comparative religion. Johnson shows that most critics are far less charitble then Stendahl and they would do well to follow his suggested rules.

Cooper Johnson, "Mormon Missionaries, the Vatican, and Respect," (Mesa, Arizona: FAIR, December 2002) Does the LDS Church encourage disrespectful behavior by its missionaries at sacred sites of other religions?

John A. Tvedtnes, "Baptism for the Dead: The Coptic Rationale," (Mesa, Arizona: FAIR, March 2003) This study was presented by John A. Tvedtnes at an international non-LDS scholarly conference in 1983, where it was warmly received.
